GIG: U-Turn @ The Pig & Sty Bethersden

Another afternoon gig in the sunshine

U-Turn were back again this time playing at The Pig & Sty in Bethersden, near Ashford, Kent. It was another hot afternoon in the sunshine in a packed pub. The Pig & Sty is a beautiful Grade II listed building with parts dating to the 16th century. Its historic character has been preserved with traditional fireplaces, exposed brickwork and Dering windows. Modern design is reflected in the vaulted ceiling, interiors and panoramic bi-fold doors opening to the gardens and views. Worth a trip!

U-Turn formed up with Neil, Chris, Rob, Pete B, Pete R and Dan Evans again. It was another hot day but we were fortunate to be playing in the shade of the outside ‘shack’. As ever the time flew by and we completed the usual two x three quarter hour sets.

All in all we had a really pleasant afternoon, so thanks to the staff at The Pig & Sty Bethersden!
